Aunty Lilikoi Products is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Melissa McFerrin Warrack and James Warrack and cheered on by their son, and chief taste-tester, Finnegan.
Located in historic Waimea Town on the island of Kauai, Aunty Lilikoi specializes in manufacturing and selling a line of desserts and condiment items, such as jellies, mustards, butters, syrups, dressings and sauces made with passion fruit. Our shop in Waimea town also supports other Kauai Made products including Shaka Pops, Salty Wahine Hawaiian Sea Salts, Ko Bakery lilikoi products, Frank's Fabulous Cheesecake.
In the last 20 years, Aunty Lilikoi has been the recipient of many awards recognizing the company’s excellence in marketing and product innovation. These awards include The Retail Merchants Association of Hawaii Hookela award and the U.S. Small Business Administration award as Exporter of the Year for the County of Kauai. In April, 2014, Aunty Lilikoi’s Passion Mango Chutney was recognized with a sofi (Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation) award. This award, given by the Specialty Food Association in New York City, is equivalent to an Academy Award in the $88 billion specialty food industry.
Additionally, Aunty Lilikoi has won 14 medals (so far!) and a Grand Champion trophy in the annual World Wide Mustard Competition. Our most recent win was a Bronze Medal in 2022 for our Habanero Mustard. This event attracts entries from notable mustard giants Grey Poupon, Beaverton Foods, Morehouse, and Gulden, as well as from specialty mustard makers all over the world.
Aunty Lilikoi’s products have also been honored at the World Hot Sauce Awards in Lafayette, Louisiana, and at the Scovie Awards in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Aunty Lilikoi is a Better Business Bureau A+ rated company. The company also belongs to the Hawaii Food Industry Association, the Hawaii Food Manufacturers Association, the Made in Hawaii Association, the Retail Merchants of Hawaii, and is a charter member of the County of Kauai’s Kauai Made Program.
